Coordinating Open Communication to Meet Robust Scheduling Needs, Desired Installation Date

Our client needed a replacement rail car coal dump hopper and high-capacity belt feeder at their electricity generating station. The project presented several challenges including schedule requirements, the fact that existing conditions could not be determined prior to the design phase, and the need for extensive equipment delivery coordination.

We developed an installation plan and sequence in conjunction with the installation contractor and hopper fabricator. The plan formed the basis for the replacement hopper design. This early collaboration ensured continued coordination through the project. We also facilitated continuous open communication with the entire project team.

Our work empowered the client to meet their desired installation completion date, and the installation and integration of the new equipment were completed without undue complications.
