Protecting Critical Environments & Supercomputers from Vibration, Seismic Activity
Our client required space for their new Computational Visualization Combustion Research (CVCR) lab that houses supercomputer server farms, engineering labs, offices, and support space.
The facility uses supercomputers to model interactions between particles at a subatomic level, predicting real-world behavior. Due to the sensitive nature of electronic and computer equipment, our team needed to consider the specific seismic, vibration, and blast-resistance needs of the lab.
We worked alongside Flad Architects and Truebeck construction to deliver this LEED Gold design-build project on time and at a competitive cost.
