Their challenge
The construction of this state-of-the-art commercial tower commenced in conjunction with the restoration and renovation of its historic neighbor, the Battle House Renaissance Hotel. Salas O’Brien was selected to provide engineering design services for the hotel as well as the commercial tower, and the projects aimed to collaborate and connect the two.
Our solution
Our work on this project included full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design services as well as construction administration for the tower base building and multiple tenant areas.
The results
As a result of the collaborative renovation and construction, the tower and hotel connect and share access to many luxuriously designed event spaces. With excellent design, beautiful architecture, and a lighted crown that’s visible from up to 30 miles away along Mobile Bay, the finished tower is one of the most highly regarded office buildings in Mobile.
