Founded in 1945, Roosevelt University is a private institution with campuses located in Chicago and Schaumberg, Illinois. Their mission is to provide everyone with access to higher education, regardless of background.
With the need for more space, Roosevelt University needed to find a quality design firm to assist with the construction of a new downtown building. They wanted a high-rise that not only served the university’s academic programs but would also be able to house world-class amenities for their students.
We provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design for the 32-story high rise campus in the heart of downtown Chicago. The new facility includes 186,000 square feet of student housing and 214,000 square feet of classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices, and dining and fitness facilities.
As the second tallest academic building and tallest self-contained campus in the United States, this $100 million mixed-use high-rise campus stands out in the Chicago skyline.
