Providing Enhanced Broadcast Capabilities
The National Cancer Institute (NCI)—the federal government’s principal agency for cancer research and training—needed to renovate their headquarters building. The project created new lounges, office spaces, dining rooms, and seminar room to serve as a broadcast and film studio, requiring unique lighting design. We worked closely with broadcasters and an audiovisual expert to ensure the seminar room and its technology would meet the challenge of ensuring picture quality. In addition, NCI needed all spaces to remain operable during the four phases of renovation construction.
We coordinated the design requirements so all areas of the NCI headquarters remained in operation throughout construction, including broadcast space, which allows NCI to share important updates with a widespread audience.
