Their challenge

They needed to renovate a building to house the institute. It features 61 offices, three conference rooms, a lab space,
a lunchroom, an open office area, and restrooms with shower facilities. The building is used for technical career training, and it houses the North San Diego Small Business Development Center.

Our solution

We designed energy upgrades for this 23,000-square-foot building, including high efficiency water heaters with circulation pumps, lighting with extreme ballasts and rooftop-packaged heat pump mechanical systems. Special considerations were made to maintain current electrical services to the building.
