Using 3D Technology to Coordinate Multiple Disciplines, Stakeholders for a Streamlined Response

Our client needed a system to transfer synthetic gypsum from a stack system and mix dry fly ash, lime, and water into it at adjustable rates to create a conditioned end product suitable for stacking into the plant’s landfill. Multiple stakeholders needed to be involved, and the designs needed a multi-disciplinary approach.

Our design integrated with the current operations, adding a belt scale to the existing tripper conveyer, new reversing and transfer conveyors, a transfer tower, and a radial stacker. Our team used 3D modeling technology to integrate specifications from other project contributors to fine-tune our designs and avoid conflicts.

Our engineering, delivery, and installation all went according to plan and successfully achieved the client’s goals for the project. Thanks to our team’s work, the finished systems are operating safely and efficiently.
