Reimagined Workplace Design Reinforces Team Culture and Productivity
In this renovation for the relocation of a creative design team, reinforcing the group’s culture was the client’s primary goal. They preferred to distance themselves from many of the campus’s norms.
Unconventional furniture pieces—a “selfie” throne chair and benches crafted from amplifiers—greet visitors upon arrival, echoing the client’s culture. Tactile materials sporadically appear throughout the space, contrasting with the high technology of the workplace. References to vintage media such as tape decks and arcade games pop up throughout the space.
The design team redesigned the first floor, converting a traditional private office layout into an open office workspace, creating collaborative areas for impromptu teaming opportunities and emphasizing a human-centric environment.
We created a fun, collaborative, high-quality environment that reflects the client’s culture and brand while remaining within their budgetary constraints.
