Designing a Headquarters Building for One of America’s Most Iconic Restaurant Brands
The McDonald’s Corporation Headquarters is home to the famous training center known as Hamburger University. Schematic design for this cutting-edge urban structure began in October 2016 with a view toward achieving occupancy in 2018.
Salas O’Brien designed the building’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems. Our design expertly accommodates the many functions of the varied space, from the corporate and executive offices, conference rooms, computer labs, server rooms, and creative studios on floors 4 through 8 to the special training areas and 18 commercial test kitchens of Hamburger University on floors 2 and 3.
Our designs also support a stunning six-story atrium and cafés on each level, a 700-person conference center, and a one-of-a-kind McDonald’s restaurant that features a rotating menu of favorites from around the globe and the latest in technological breakthroughs to deliver an Experience of the Future.
