Enhancing and Increasing Service Capabilities for New Medical Office

Our team provided electrical engineering for a new state-of-the-art medical office building. Features of the new facility include express check-in kiosks and approximately 40 exam rooms with new technologies including “smart chairs” capable of measuring a patient’s weight and fully reclining into exam tables.

We included sustainable innovations, such as low voltage DC lighting with wireless lighting controls and additional DC outlets for exam rooms. This is the first medical office building where the HP Mini Desktop computer did not need an AC-DC power adapter, reducing electronic waste. In addition, patients and guests can now plug in their smart devices for charging without a need for a power adapter.
