Providing Services to an Acute Care Hospital Since 2013

Our work with this client began in 2013 by providing master planning services for building systems infrastructure to prioritize patient care, ease of use for staff, constructability in an active facility, and future maintenance within the 100-year-old facility. Planning efforts also include troubleshooting system operations, infrastructure upgrades, and improving system performance to reduce Energy Use Intensity.

We performed an assessment of their aging, isolated power systems that serve the surgical suite, cath/electrophysiology labs, and emergency department trauma rooms, collaborating with the medical staff to ensure the new power distribution in the operating rooms would meet their clinical and budgetary while minimizing disruption to their operations during replacement.

We’ve served as the prime consultant and the construction manager on numerous projects, including air handling unit replacements, cardiovascular OR upgrades, and a boiler plant replacement with set-based design anticipating two future towers.

We’ve designed radiology department renovations, which included MRI, PET/CT, CT, interventional radiology, and X-ray procedure rooms.
Furthermore, our team has supported USP 800 pharmacy upgrades, robotics integration for their operating rooms, and an expansion of their rehab department. We’ve also performed pressurization and humidity assessments for their trauma and operating rooms.

Our work has and will continue to support the hospital as it expands to meet the needs of its growing community.
