Our team provided MEP and fire protection engineering and tenant fit-out design for Halyard Health’s four-floor headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Halyard Health is a medical technology company with roots dating back to 1872 and Kimberly, Clark & Co. From its headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia, Halyard operates 11 manufacturing facilities and has more than 12,000 employees worldwide.
When company leadership decided to renovate their four-floor, 175,000-square-foot headquarters, they knew they would need a trustworthy engineering partner to ensure the project’s success. The facility includes patient care areas, office space, laboratories, and physician training facilities—each of which requires unique design specifications to achieve its purpose.
Salas O’Brien’s team worked with many different consultants and corporate representatives to ensure the building’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design needs were met, and we also provided tenant fit-out design for the space. Our designs accommodated a compressed timeline that included a three-shift, 24-hour, seven-day construction schedule.
Our work on this project helped Halyard achieve its goal for a beautifully renovated and functional campus that will serve the company’s needs for years to come.
