Foster City Campus
Gilead Sciences, Inc. is an American Fortune 500 biopharmaceutical corporation that develops antiviral drugs for diseases such as influenza, HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and more. Gilead is also the first company to create a drug, Remdesivir, approved by the US Food & Drug Administration for the treatment of Covid-19 in the United States.
Gilead Sciences, Inc. wanted to create a place that fosters innovation and wellbeing; a campus that epitomizes scientific excellence and work life balance. They require a location that allows for proper R&D, testing, and manufacturing.
Each building is uniquely designed to meet our client’s needs; there’s a new four-story, steel framed R&D facility designed with highly sensitive vibration isolation with a floor structure designed for 2000 MIPS criteria. Other buildings include elevated trussed bridges connecting to additional lab buildings.
The Gilead campus includes multiple laboratory and office buildings, two pilot plants, and R&D facilities. Employees can look forward to the new wellbeing center with indoor and outdoor recreation spaces and a meditation garden.
