This Fortune 500 chemical manufacturer is a global force with expertise across a variety of consumer and industrial markets. With thousands of passionate employees, the company promises and delivers excellent solutions to customers in over 100 countries.
This client needed a trustworthy engineering partner to collaborate with construction contractors and provide facility engineering services and construction management for the addition of a new production building at a company plant in Columbus, Ohio.
Our design encompassed civil site work, shallow foundations, pipe bridges, and all plant utilities including solvent, brine, steam, instrument air, and service water systems; a process building (including MEP); a fire water system; and electrical power supply. Our work also included the generation of a 3D model. With the help of cutting-edge cloud software, our team was able to use this model to integrate specifications from project contributors, to deliver live updates for review in progress meetings, and to facilitate coordination among project consultants. Our team also worked closely with the client and contractors to coordinate permitting activity with local and regulatory agencies.
We worked with the owner from conceptual development to startup and commissioning, and our engineering expertise empowered successful completion of the project.
