Fortune 50 Software Company
Salas O’Brien provided interior architecture design for one of this Fortune 50 client’s Redmond, Washington, cafeterias.
It isn’t every organization that makes employee food venues a priority for their corporate offices—but this leading software systems and application development client is one of those unique few. Based in Redmond, Washington, this Fortune 50 company’s main research and development campus houses over 20 dining venues offering dozens of different culinary options. These venues also comprise a variety of dining environments—themed, upscale, and casual among them.
When this multi-billion-dollar organization needed an interior architecture partner to repair and upgrade one of these venues (a campus cafeteria), they turned to Salas O’Brien.
The main focus of this 10,000-square-foot project was the redesign of cafeteria casework. This involved replacement and repair of the existing casework configuration in the cafeteria’s espresso and servery areas. Our designers also introduced a fresh color palette to complement the adjacent spaces.
The finished dining area offers employees an alternative to boardrooms and design labs—a place where they can collaborate over a meal or a great cup of coffee without even leaving the company campus.
