Fortune 50 Software Company
Office Building Refresh
Salas O’Brien provided interior architecture design services for this Fortune 50 client’s office building refresh. Our worked helped the client achieve their goal for more open, vibrant collaborative shared spaces throughout the four-story building.
This Fortune 50 client develops, manufactures, licenses, and supports software and consumer electronics across the globe. The company has been headquartered in Redmond, Washington, (a suburb of Seattle) for over 30 years. Its over 500-acre campus features office space, corporate dining venues, recreational facilities, and unique collaborative hubs that encourage creativity, engagement, and a strong corporate culture.
When this recurring client decided to refresh a four-story office building on their campus, they needed an interior architecture design partner to help the company achieve its goals for a more open, sculptural, collaborative space.
Our work on this project included the redesign of four kitchenette locations (one per floor) and the addition of a new espresso bar and specialty food area within the building’s existing café. Our scope of work also included the creation of a new paint palette for general office areas and lobbies on all levels.
Our work on this project helped the client achieve both their aesthetic and practical goals. The new color palette adds a vibrant feel to shared areas, and the redesigned dining areas create opportunities for informal meetings and spontaneous collaboration.
