This client recently bought and built-out an office building from the Naperville Operations Center in Naperville, Illinois, to renovate for their future technology and operations hub. In order for our client’s employees to be able to work efficiently in this new space, BMO Harris needed a partner who could design the infrastructure and systems for the new 7,000-square-foot, Tier-III data hall.
Salas O’Brien collaborated with and worked alongside this client’s other construction and electrical contractors to design new infrastructure and systems. The scope of our design included below-floor cooling and raceways, power distribution, and layout of 126 server cabinets; redundant fiber optic riser cabling to sixteen distributed IDF closets; redundant cabinet tie and distribution copper and fiber optic cabling within the data center space; and redundant building NeTPops with redundant building entrance pathways.
Our team’s engineering design and project collaboration on this new data hall has empowered this leading bank to continue its global reach around the world. The data center currently offices 1,000 employees who are now equipped to continue making lasting connections with their customers and the Naperville community.
