Their challenge

Balyasny Asset Management engaged our engineering expertise during their interior build-out of 44,700 square feet of high-end office space at 444 W. Lake Street. Taking cues from our client’s other recently completed offices in New York City and San Francisco, the new office space layout included open office workstations, private offices, conference rooms, a board room, office suites, a reception area, data/UPS room, IDF room, and other associated support areas. Each of these build-out spaces needed quality engineering design and commissioning service support.

Our solution

Our team’s engineering and consulting services for this project included full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design and commissioning for all new interior spaces. Specifically, our design ensured that the mission critical infrastructure was fully supported by supplemental cooling systems, pre-action fire protection systems, and UPS and generator systems.
