Next-Level Fine Arts Center Serves the District and Community

The Arlington Independent School District (AISD) Performing Arts Complex includes a 1,250-seat concert hall, a 425-seat studio theatre, art and dance studios, a classroom space, an instrument repair center, and an art gallery. University Interscholastic League competitions are a key program requirement resulting in generous circulation and stage spaces.

The Robert G. Copeland concert hall was purpose-built to support AISD’s strong music programs. The classic shape was designed to support the choir, orchestra, and ensembles, but the inclusion of variable acoustics allows the hall to be tailored to a wide range of musical performances. Our team designed a large LED screen and color-changing LED house lighting to immerse the audience in the performance. The intimate environment of the studio theatre celebrates the connection between the student performer and the audience. Audio, video, theatrical lighting, and rigging technology facilitate performances and allow the students the opportunity to get hands-on experience with equipment.
