Overhauling Data, Tech, Security Systems for School District
Our team was responsible for extensive technology upgrades, renovations, additions, and new construction for 58 Aldine ISD schools and seven district facilities. Services included structured cabling, school communications, classroom audio/video, CCTV, access control, network infrastructure, the bus GPS locating system, and an estimated 12 million feet of Category 6 cabling, 3,000 wireless points, 5,000 PA speakers, 2,500 cameras, and 450 retrofitted doors for card access. For the data center upgrade, Salas O’Brien handled all bidding, construction administration, and quality control within the project that was completed with no warranty items to date.
We also provided technology design for four new middle schools, a new Career Technical Education high school, three elementary schools, a new high school, a ninth-grade center, and prototypes for future buildings.
