30+ years of energy and utilities industry experience, specializing in utility operations and technology, held roles in field operations, research & development, operations management, and a C-suite role within the energy marketing headquarters of a major oil company.
Led critical projects and managed programs across a broad range of public and private utilities sectors, including diverse generation assets, transmission, distribution, wastewater treatment and environmental. Interacted extensively with entities in the energy industry including the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), most Independent System Operators (ISOs) and a multitude of utilities across North America.
Managed a team of up to 180 technologists in the C-suite role continuously delivering business-enabling technology solutions under a $25 million annually funded program. As a Certified Energy Manager, continuously performed energy audits across utilities infrastructure, facilities, and industrial processes.
Most recently serving as Senior Energy and Program Manager under contract for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), supporting the United States Air Force in building sustainable and resilient installations under the Utilities Privatization program by transforming base infrastructure around the country with energy-efficient utility systems.
