Job title:
Electrical Engineer

What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Not necessarily an accomplishment, but I tackled one of my greatest fears when I went skydiving in 2019. I was terrified of heights before I took the plunge.

What’s an interesting fact about you that people may not know?
I have reeled in and caught what is believed to be the fastest animal in the world: the sailfish.

What do you like most about working at Salas O’Brien?
Working as a team to accomplish a common goal. To design a building on a piece of paper and then watch it be built is the most gratifying work I do here at Salas O’Brien.

What kind of projects do you like to work on and why?
Mobile Switch Center design is the most rewarding work I do. It lends the opportunity to collaborate with other design teams outside our company and grow the most as an engineer or project manager. I also get to work on disciplines outside my own and gain knowledge on mechanical, fire protection, and architectural design.

What do you do for fun?
I enjoy rooting on the Cougars, Seahawks, and Mariners in my spare time. I also like to spend my free time golfing, shooting hoops, and spending valuable time with friends and family.

Favorite show or movie?
Favorite movie would have to be Gladiator. Favorite show would have to be Barry on HBO or Dave on Hulu.

Favorite book?
A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin. Lengthy, but worth the read.

Favorite place in the world?
Easily Pullman, WA, on a September morning, getting ready to watch the Cougs play. Go Cougs!
