Job title:
Structural Designer

What accomplishments are you most proud of?
The accomplishment I’m most proud of would be competing at the 2012 London Olympics in Women’s Doubles Badminton. The journey of qualifying and then actually competing at the Olympics taught me so much about myself and truly helped shape the person I am today.

What’s an interesting fact about you that people may not know?
I have travelled to 30(ish) countries around the world. Through my time as an athlete, I was lucky enough to compete all over the world.

What do you like most about working at Salas O’Brien?
The people and the teamwork. I really enjoy working with and getting to know my coworkers. Everyone is really helpful, and I’ve been able to make many good friends though my time working here.

What kind of projects do you like to work on and why?
I’ve had the opportunity to work on various types of projects and have enjoyed them all. Each comes with its own challenges and sense of accomplishment.

What do you do for fun?
I enjoy staying active and find myself participating in any sport I can get my hands on. Aside from that, I like hanging out with friends and family, baking, watching sports, and travelling.

Favorite show or movie?
Too many to answer! But if I had to pick my current favourite show, it would be Schitt’s Creek.

Favorite book?
I don’t know that I have a favourite book, but I recently read and really enjoyed The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.

Favorite place in the world?
This is a really tough question, there’s so much of the world I haven’t seen yet. I don’t think I have a favourite place but somewhere that really stands out for me was the Taj Mahal in India.
