We’re thrilled to announce that Salas O’Brien has earned numerous awards that represent the substantial, consistent growth our company has achieved.
Most recently, we were ranked among the top 25 firms on the 2019 Commissioning Giants list and as one of the Silicon Valley’s fastest-growing private companies. For the seventh consecutive year, we’ve been named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, earning the 39th spot in the Top Engineering companies category. We’ve also earned our highest ever MEP Giants rank at #19 on this year’s Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s list of top mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and fire protection engineering firms in North America.
As if that weren’t enough, we also jumped 79 spots on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2019 Top 500 Design Firms list to #188. We also made #13 on Building Design + Construction’s Top 40 Engineering Architecture Firms.
“This couldn’t have been possible without our team’s tireless commitment to great relationships with our clients and to technical excellence on our projects,” said Darin Anderson, CEO. “Awards like these only confirm our culture of providing top-notch expertise and superior service.”
Each of the awards is based on a different measure of success. Inc. 5000’s and Silicon Valley’s fastest-growing company’s lists are determined by the company’s percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period, of which we saw an increase of 139% with a total increase of 2600% over the last 12 years. The MEP Giants ranking is based on the company’s total MEP design revenue, of which we logged over $78 million. The ENR list and the Building Design + Construction list tracks companies’ revenue for all design services, of which we recorded over $83.5 million. And finally, the Commissioning Giants list tracks all revenue earned through commissioning services.
“We wouldn’t have achieved the kind of growth we’ve sustained if our employee-owners hadn’t lived up to our Ownership Values of ‘Expect Leadership, Expect Results, and Expect Relationships’,” Anderson continued. “I’m certainly proud of what the team has accomplished to ensure the health and vitality of the company.”
