Salas O’Brien provided electrical, and instrumentation and control engineering services to upgrade Georgia-Pacific’s Monticello mill. We replaced the aging plant air system with state-of-the-art 1,500 HP compressors to deliver reliable, redundant compressed air across the mill. We provided comprehensive electrical, digital & automation, and construction administration services for the new Essentia Protein wastewater treatment plant. Our team developed detailed electrical specifications, one-line diagrams, panelboard schedules, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and electrical plans. The design included power, grounding, lighting plans, interconnection wiring diagrams, a programmable logic controller (PLC) network diagram, and installation details.
