History of Plus Group

Process Plus was founded in 1996 with a vision of excellence in quality of work and business practices and to create a work environment where employees could flourish. It was a priority for the Principals to do more than typical engineering firms in all aspects of business. Many innovative programs were implemented to give ownership benefits to employees. The leadership also embraced the value of stewardship through generous support of charitable and community outreach programs. The passion for finding better ways to improve work processes resulted in tremendous growth.

During its first five years in business, the company grew revenue 1,850% and went from zero to 75 clients.

After Founding President Bryan Speicher succumbed to cancer in 2003, the firm’s leaders were inspired to continue embodying his spirit of perseverance and strength. The partners focused on initiatives to support and grow the business, adopting the philosophy, “Our Process Revolves Around You,” to reflect the company’s genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. The firm continues to leverage its entrepreneurial spirit, developing and expanding into new services to help clients save money and improve processes.

In January 2016, Plus Group was formed, adding Process Plus sister companies Automation Plus and Design Build Plus. This organizational change allows the company to more effectively promote capabilities to serve customers through the entire project lifecycle. Customers continue to obtain the high-quality solutions and exceptional service they have come to know, with the convenience of maintaining one point of contact from start to finish.

Since joining Salas O’Brien in February 2023, Plus Group leaders have functioned seamlessly as an integral part of the Process & Manufacturing business unit. The merger has allowed Plus Group teams to continue their legacy of extraordinary customer service and employee opportunity, while enhancing offerings internally and externally throughout North America.
