Alpharetta City Center

This project was completed as part of a larger city initiative to re-envision the historic downtown Alpharetta area and transform it into a vibrant mixed-use environment. The master-planned, 22-acre redevelopment of the city hub includes a five-acre public park, a new town square, 90,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, and a new, 47,000-square-foot City Hall. Salas O’Brien’s role in the overall project included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design services, commissioning, and construction administration for the five-floor City Hall and attached 450-space parking deck.

The finished City Hall houses administrative offices and a data center to support city infrastructure and services. The main multi-floor open atrium serves as a welcoming point for visitors to the facility, and the city council room. The completed City Hall serves as a gathering place for citizens of the community, a landmark for visitors, and a beautiful addition to the newly envisioned downtown Alpharetta area.
